Wasps £35.00 Fully Inclusive Guaranteed

NO HIDDEN CHARGES

BZZZZZ, that buzzing noise can be the most startling noise that you hear, it instantly generates panic.

Some Facts:- Wasps can be regarded as a beneficial pest, they collect insect larvae, scraps of meat and even fish to feed their own, along with their normal consumption of  fruit, for example apples, pears, plums etc. They actually help to control other insect pests.

Their nests are formed from wood taken from the fabric of buildings, fences, garden furniture etc.

There are a few methods to control or destroy  an active nest, we recommend that full Protection equipment be worn, including Bee Keepers overalls if you are in any way within 2-3 meters of a nest.

If you undertake the treatment your self, be EXTREMELY careful during the process, for  as soon as you move or disturb the nest, it is very likely you will be the target for reprisal in mass.

We have encountered nests where they have expanded and eaten through ceiling plaster board gaining access to the below room, this is not a daily occurrence.

The nest can be removed LIVE but this is a last resort and normally done when extreme circumstances are apparent, such as a Roof void where Bats are present, or in a school class room etc.............

Domestic Properties will cost  £35.00, no matter how many nests that domestic property has, this is guaranteed, it does not include removing the nest.

Commercial Properties or Residential homes are dependent on access,  but can normally be treated for the cost of a domestic dwelling.

You do not need to  remove the nest, it will dry out over a winter period.

Bees, there is a shortage of Bees, including both Honey and Bumble, and as these are very important to our natures pollination, we will strive at all times to re-site or prevent rather than just indiscriminately KILL a nest, see our header for the BUMBLE BEE SANCTUARY.

Swarming of Honey Bees, a swarm happens when there is a separation of an existing colony, DO NOT PANIC, they can sound like a small aircraft flying around, there can be up to a few thousand on the move, they are looking for a new home and will rest in between journeys whilst their scouts search the landscape for potential homes, this rest, may be by hanging from a Branch, on a fence post, around a tree, bush or wherever, they will normally rest for up to 24hrs before moving on, when resting it looks like a ball or tear drop shape of moving insects dark in colour and a distinctive HUM/BUZZ.

we make a nominal charge of £10 for a call out visit where no works are undertaken, but that is waived if work is undertaken.
