RATS :- IF YOU SUSPECT YOU HAVE RATS USE WATERPROOF GLOVES AT ALL TIMES WHEN WORKING WITHIN THE SUSPECTED AREA, ESPECIALLY IN GARDENS WHERE WATER/MOISTURE CONTENT CAN BE HIGH, RATS CAN PASS ON WEILS DISEASE THROUGH OPEN WOUNDS, WHICH CAN BE FATAL....
Rats or mice, if you have a compost heap/bin, set it on stone or paving slabs so that you can access all the way around, these recycling units are like a block of flats to rodents, they are warm, wind free good food source, rodents normally burrow under the rim, through the soil or around the edge, they can even gnaw through the wall of the container if required.
Cockroaches, these can hang upside down under surfaces such as tables, chairs, worktops, they can hide behind tiles, electrical sockets, fridges (Electrical Components), keep all food produce in good sealed containers, cleanliness is the key, especially in places you would not normally undertake, behind kick boards, under oven/fridge/freezer/Airing cupboard, they are prolific traveler's.
